Dr. Dominic Wu, MD strives to provide excellent, compassionate care to all his patients. He is honored to be part of your medical journey.
Dr. Wu earned his undergraduate degree from Brown University and graduated with honors. He graduated from Brown University Medical School and was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He initially trained in Family Medicine at Tufts/Harvard Medical School affiliated hospitals where he served as Chief Resident. He moved to Kansas City to complete a second residency in Dermatology at the University of Kansas where he also served as Chief Resident. He is thrilled to be part of the KC Skin & Cancer Center family.
Dr. Wu has published medical textbook chapters and numerous research articles in medical journals. He worked with MD Anderson Cancer Center as a dermoscopy expert to establish multi-center consensus guidelines to help train dermatologists and other physicians to identify skin cancer more effectively. He is a Contributing Editor of Harvard Health Publishing to help educate the general public about medical conditions.
Dr. Wu practices general, medical, and surgical dermatology. He is especially interested in skin cancer, health equity, and emerging treatments for chronic skin conditions such as psoriasis and eczema.
During his spare time, Dr. Wu enjoys spending time with his family and puppy, painting, traveling, and exploring the many restaurants in the KC area.
